In August, we will be collecting Snack Foods for Rock House Kids.  They can accept any of the following for the snack bags for the children:

Dry cereals (approx. 1 oz. boxes)

Breakfast or nutrition bars

Peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers

Fruit roll ups, fruit snacks, raisins

Pudding cups (non-refrigerated)

Fruit cups (non-refrigerated)

Cookies and crackers-small packs

Capri Sun, juice boxes (non-refrigerated)

The next mission meeting is scheduled for Sunday August 27^th after worship!

Missions Matter

In June, we are collecting old towels and sheets for Hoo Haven in Shirland, IL.  They are a rescue organization for aviary and other wild animals.  They could also use old frozen meat.  If you have freezer burnt meat, please take it to Hoo Haven directly.

We are hoping to take a trip to Hoo Haven on July 31^st. If you are interested in touring the facility, please let Darlene Worley or Pastor Lisa know.

Coming up, we will be collecting snacks for Rock House Kids as they prepare to return to school.  We will also be Backing the Blue this Fall and of course a dessert fund raiser for Pastor Charles.  Be watching for details on everything coming up!
