We welcome you to join our Sunday school Christian education program. We strive to not only foster spiritual growth with fun and educational lessons from the Bible, but also through community fellowship service projects and events.
Younger elementary group consists of pre-K through 2nd grade. Older elementary group consists of 3rd grade through 5th grade. They meet Sunday mornings during worship at 10:00 am.
Junior high consists of 6 grade through 8th grade (Vertical Focus).
Senior high consists of 9th grade through 12th grade (Vertical Focus). These age groups meet on Saturdays at 10:00 am.
Lessons have included teachings on the Miracles Jesus performed, Moses and the Ten Commandments.
Fellowship activities have included “Heroes of the Bible”, a lock – in, the float in the fall festival parade and the Sunday School Christmas Party—”Make a Joyful Noise”.
Service projects have included activities that benefit our local community:
- we made cookies for the fire department
- we left game tickets in the machines at the Clubhouse
- we picked up trash at Leland Park.
Special activities have included:
- our yearly walk to the Roscoe Cemetery to “Honor our Ancestors”
- a spaghetti dinner
- “Bridging the Gap” senior luncheon and talent show.
