In Loving Memory Carol A. Fornander

Carol A. Fornander, 75, Loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother

Carol a. Fornander, 75, of Machesney Park went to be with our Lord Wednesday evening (April 9, 2008) in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. 

Carol was born on July 20, 1932, in Minneapolis, daughter to Lester and Julia (Simonson) Fremming.  She married Eric Fornander on September 1, 1972, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake. 

She was a active member of Trinity Lutheran Church Long Lake, also an active member in the First Congregational Community Church of Roscoe.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Eric of Machesney Park; loving children, Andrea (John) Agazim, Leslie (Jack) Slosser, Laura Petersen, Carla (Don) Swiatkowski, Erika Fornander, Eric (Arlene) Fornander, Ernest (Roxane) Fornander, Evette (John) Oister; 27 grand-children; 24 great-grand-children; and sisters, Norice Norlander and Maxine Leckman.  She was predeceased by parents; and sister, Judy Howell.

Memorial Service was held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 13, in the First Congregational Community Church of Roscoe, 10780 Third Street, Roscoe, Illinois, with visitation from 1:00 P.M. to time of service.  Pastor Jim Jupin officiated.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials made to your choice in Carol’s name.  Arrangements were handled by Honquest Family Funeral Home with Cremantory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, Illinois.

In Loving Memory

 Hasal M. Wilson

Hasal M. Wilson, age 85 of Juda, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at the New Glarus Nursing Home.  Hasal was born on October 14, 1922 in Green County, the daughter of Robert and Florence (Nolty) Clark.  She attended Shanghai rural school in Spring Grove Township.  Hasel and Melvin Wilson were united in marriage on June 14, 1942.
She worked as a cook for the Juda Schools for 20 years and also was employed by the Swiss Colony until retiring in 1988.  She was a former member of the
Juda Baptist Church.  Hasel had resided at the Collinwood Care Home in Brodhead for the past five years.
She is survived by a son, Wallace L. (Linda) Wilson of Brodhead; a daughter, Merikay (Eugene) Ellefson of Monroe; a sister, Rosalie (Frank) Leopold, Jr. of Juda; and three brothers, Robert (Ramona) Clark, John  Doris) Clark, and Forrest (Reva) Clark, all of Davis, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson,
Gale Ellefson.
Funeral services were held at
11 A.M. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe.  Reverend Thomas Miller of the Oakley Union United Methodist Church officiated.  Interment was in Stateline Cemetery, Rock Grove Township, Illinois.  A visitation was held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.   A memorial fund will be established in Hasel’s name.
