Women’s Afternoon Circle –The next meeting of the Women’s Afternoon Circle will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Plans for the June 11th Luncheon will be finalized. A puppet stage was built by Bill Britton and the Women’s Afternoon Circle is making the covering for it. The puppet stage will be used by Angie during the Children’s Sermon and at various functions.
Women’s Evening Circle: We met on April 21st to finalize plans for the Mother/Daughter Luncheon and work on the blanket project.
The Mother/Daughter Luncheon will be Saturday, May 17th at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Lunch will consist of Paula’s hot chicken and rice casserole, rolls and butter, assorted salads, desserts and lemonade, ice tea and coffee. We will eat in the Fellowship Hall and then go upstairs for our program. Marlyn Watts will share part of her collection of over 500 aprons with us. She will be telling about the history of aprons as she shows us some of her favorites. If you have a special apron please bring it with you. Tickets are available from circle members and are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for girls. The deadline for purchasing tickets will be Mother’s Day, May 11th. This will be a great time to come and meet some of the ladies in our church. I hope to see you at the Mother/Daughter Luncheon!
The next Evening Circle meeting will be September 15th. Enjoy your summer.

All women of the church are invited to attend either or both of these Circles depending on your personal schedule. The Women’s Afternoon Circle meets the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 P.M. at the church. The Women’s Evening Circle meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the church. CPR Classes
Future plans for CPR Classes will be held at the Harlem/Roscoe Fire Station where the equipment is located. There would be groups of approximately 6 per instructor. The training takes about 3 hours. We need to know if anyone is interested in attending a CPR Class and if so, will advise the training dates when known in future bulletins. Contact Paula Pettersen if you are interested in taking the CPR Class.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at Jessica’s Restaurant, 5091 Edgemere Ct., Roscoe. All men of the church are invited to attend. This is a great time to get together for fellowship and good food. Perhaps some ideas and suggestions for future projects by this group will be discussed during this time.
